Carine Roitfeld resign from French Vogue

The model turn writer turn editor in chief of this chain of fashion lifestyle magazine Vogue French edition announce her resignation on 17 December 2010and will officially leave the office by the end of January 2011. after almost 10 years holding the post.

i would describe her style as always young and fresh, we can see that she is using her experience modelling into her style and work.she manage to lift up the French Vogue image to the international market by working with amazing creative players. well off course she is the editor of this capital of fashion city - Paris, she is one of the most influential players in fashion. she is to be seen as not into commercialism of fashion but she try to balance. she mentioned to the new york times "when something is already good, its time to do something else"
no body knows yet who is going to replace this hot seat. We will see by next month

Philosophy Men, Kuala Lumpur

I stuck in a very boring family holiday trip, with just my lap top and blackberry as my entertainment. So sitting here waiting for my time just to pass, as always i open up folders in My desktop to find things to do review on . I found this fashion show that i went on Philosophy Men early this year. I totally forgot to blog about it earlier, and this collection is already off their season, they have  come out with the new want called robot revisited check it out at http://www.philosophy-men.com

I have a personal development with this brand. I remember the brand was establish about 7 or 8 years ago and they open their first boutique in KLCC. I was 14. I always adore their paper bag design, i start buying their accessories and i never stop ever since. I would say its one of my favourite brand and its Malaysian! the brand was introduce by Allan and Tino Soon and they won the most promising young designer during Klifw 2004 if i am not mistaken.

the boutique are available at Suria KLCC mall, Pavillion Bukit Bintang, and Mid valley. last month i check the klcc store is still on renovation. I guess it should be open by now. I think the company also bought the brand Grafi-tee recently.

Philosophy is for men, while the brand salabianca under the same company is to cater for women, which offer uniqueness and extra umph in the things that you could get from Salabianca and Philosophy.

love the evening bag

M-ifw by Mifa - Wanpa

The raising duo under the brand WANPA with their collection 'ray of light' inspired by the cosmic. i like the collection bright, unique and simple. its quiet different from what they been doing for celebrity and their previous collection. more about WANPA; http://wanpa.blogspot.com .

well the highlight of the day for my very long day at the fashion week is this model, fall off the runaway. It wake me up for a while. Cant really see what's is the cause of the fall but it was quiet a highlight event where the crowd was cheering to incident. the dress taking risk by using this mint or kinda non color color which have a risk to look cheap. Beyonce was slashed for wearing this color before.

Hey lovers, How are u guys enjoying the holiday? Cant believe another christmas celebration is coming in again. well i am still not off with designers presenting their collection during the previous mifa. well more than 60 designer participate, i guess its gonna take a lil a bit more longer than i thought

While indulging myself with a pack of twix and tweeting rubbish. Another boring day in during holiday. So i come across this collection by Nabila Erwani Zainal Abidin under her brand Belle Labelle. i just think the name is cuteeeeeee:) the name sounded young and girlish but the collection as we can see is more woman. I honestly never heard of her of this brand before. But I say this girl have a bright future.
As I am wirting thsi down i am also browsing Bella Labelle blog  http://bellazainal.blogspot.com/ , and I say her collection before this one is pretty different I love this one more than those bright collection.

Its is in a way very structured short dress and with a perfect length, i can feel the Chanel vibe in this collection.
cute.

Carven Academy of Fashion

Carven Academy of Fashion is a fashion school in Malaysia that is owned by noted fashion designer, Carven Ong, who is also the principle of the academy. The academy have continuously produce many promising young designers that have made their name in enormous young designers competitions. In the recent MiFW 2010, the graduating students get a slot of Carven Academy Graduate Show to showcase their designs.
Suki Chan Sau Kei - Goldfish, I think the inspiration is cute:)

the combination of color is way making it look cheap- Tan choon Yeah, Roof Tuss.

just lovely, by Wong Siao Chean dress turn two piece, nice

the color is a bit soft for "roman warriors"

Good job Wong! - Roman Wariors

Elaine Wong- freedom

Elaine wong the grament are mostly not sewn there are tie ups, knots and safety pins. i like the colors

Ashley Soh Zhi Yun - Amphitrite

one of my favourite - Carol Chong

Carol Chong - civilization Period

Like what Mr. Carven Ong mention to me during the show, "most of the young designers is getting more and more western, futuristic, no more drama" i have to agree, which is just so - so wave in Malaysia's fashion scene, I mean it is good in some way, but in another way  we are so rich of cultures, heritage and stories that can inspire those young designers. Do you get it? we are too obsess with the western and deny our own uniqueness, while they took our cultures and sell it for thousands of dollars. I am never against any side of fashion, it just my thoughts.

Christine Foo Yiping- I am certainly uncertain about this, collection called "the combination" inspire by step by step in staircase.

Shaun Lee Kah Wai- CyNoXsys combination of cyber technology and system

14 new designers coming up, i only display a few of them. Good Luck :)_
